June 23, 2009 We're going to start out this week with a new feature, Giving A Customer Their Due. This week that would be Cindy Rubinfine. Cindy had been telling me for months that I needed to read Ysabel by Guy Gavriel Kay. Cindy lives in Canada at present so I thought I was safe from her insistence that I would love the book. But no. Her son Javan came in the store and gave me a copy. This was impressive so I took it home and read it. The result? Okay I absolutely loved the book. What a rich and elegant pleasure it is! Hmmmn. With two more Blomkvist and Salander books still to come one has to leave room to get more obsessed in the future. It is true that as soon as I put this book down I picked it back up and reread the last half of the book two more times! The sad thing here is that Swedish author Larsson died unexpectedly of a heart attack a month after delivering all three novels of a trilogy to his publisher.
