As the Lord Gro mentioned
to The Red Foliot in The Worm Ouroboros, "The harvest of this world is to the resolute, and he that is infirm of purpose is ground betwixt the upper and the nether millstone." It is certainly true that he who doth not keep up with technology will find the upper and the nether millstone keeping him close company post haste. With this in mind DDG has called upon the youthful expertise of Reid Brechner to work us up a DDG facebook Fan Page. The big thing now, obviously, is to drum up fans. The nascent self esteem of our new facebook page depends upon that entirely! This is where you come in. Yes, it's come to this, we'll be monitoring the right side bar with bated breath, waiting for new faces to appear. Would Jane Austen have approved of this sort of social networking? No! Should you fan
our facebook page anyway? Yes! Jane's approval, though usually a good idea, will not get you DDG event updates, event photos, and a chance to drop us an electronic line. We'd love to hear from you.
In other news we want to thank wonderful authors Cynthia Lord, Lea Wait, and everyone who came out to greet them at our Kids♥Authors Day event (pictured above right). A lovely time was had by all.
Here they are! Our weekly picks for the two best: two hardcover, two paperback, and two children's books. The very best new arrivals to leap out of the box and onto our shelves this week. Call or email us if you want more information on any of these titles, or to have us hold you a copy. Or stop in and check them out in person. We'd love to see you. Thanks as always for sharing your reading with us!
